To replace a MAU (or similar) option card, refer to the figure and perform the following steps:

1. Shut down the system and all peripheral devices.
2. Unplug the power cord.
3. Remove the system cover.
4. Remove the option screw from the rear of the enclosure.
5. Disconnect the option card cable from its connector on the MLB.
6. Insert the replacement option into the slot and secure it with the screw.
7. Replace the cover and power cord; power on and boot the system.
